Murau-Kreischberg enjoys a perfect location on the first part of the well-known Murradweg cycle trail, which traverses the whole of Styria all the way from the Salzburg region of Lungau to the Slovenian border. On the first section of this fabulous route along the River Mur, you will be rewarded by superb panoramic views.

Golfing on the green Mur
Pay a visit to the golf course at the foot of the Kreischberg during your summer holiday. The 18-hole/par-72 course is ready for you with an attractive course design. The natural, undulating greens featuring forest sections are a high point for golfers. Finish your round at island green no. 18 directly outside the clubhouse terrace. A one-of-a-kind golfing experience set between peaks, valleys and the River Mur.

Holidaying in the Murau-Kreischberg region is a pretty memorable experience, especially for children. Visitors of all ages are delighted by trips on the Murtalbahn steam railway.
