Ski holiday in Murau-Kreischberg

Fancy a couple of days skiing in Styria? In winter, the Kreischberg ski resort is exactly the right destination for all those who'd love to do an activity holiday. Thanks to modern snow-making facilities, optimum conditions are guaranteed on 42 km of slopes. Gondola lifts and chair lifts will transport you safely up the mountain. Swoop back down on different slopes at varying levels of difficulty.

Family ski holiday at Kreischberg

Hardly has the first snow fallen and already the youngsters can't wait to get up on the mountain and zoom down the slopes. The Kreischberg ski resort offers snow fun for the whole family. The many open blue runs are most suitable for beginners. But children will also feel right as rain at the practice lift and at the Dinopark. While the young skiers discover the slopes with the aid of a ski instructor from the ski school, parents have time to twist and sweep their own way down.

During Family Days in pre- and post-season, children up to 15 can travel free on the Kreischberg when accompanied by an adult! This offer is valid for multi-day passes of more than two days.

A recent addition is the Young Family Ticket. For couples with children up to three (proof required), the second adult only pays the child price.

Fun & action in the snow

In addition to excellently groomed slopes, skiers and snowboarders on the Kreischberg can expect a few more highlights. Test your skill on the permanent race track or the high-speed run, for example.

The Kreischberg ski resort is a hotspot for all freestylers, whether you're on a pair of skis or a board.

Have you ever tried tubing? At the mountain station for the gondola lift, you can take the "tube" down a run of approx. 200 m before being gently halted by the counter slope. It's huge fun for all ages, and the ideal activity for when you want some time out from skiing or snowboarding.

Accommodation around the ski resort

Accommodation for your ski holiday can be found in the towns dotted around the Kreischberg. It's just a few minutes by car from several hotels, guesthouses and holiday apartments to the valley station of the ski resort.

Replenishing on your ski break

People enjoying an action-packed ski break need enough energy, of course. You certainly won’t be left disappointed on the pistes and in the valley when it comes to food and drink. Several restaurants and ski huts are available. Enjoy your meal on the sun terraces before venturing on your next descent.

Ski school & ski hire

Anyone learning how to ski for the first time or wanting to improve their skills should sign up at the ski school in the Murau-Kreischberg region, which offers ski and snowboarding courses for both children and adults.

If you don't ski or snowboard very often and therefore don't have your own equipment, you can easily rent out everything you need. Ski, snowboard and toboggan hire is available at the valley station for the Kreischberg ski resort.
