Schwarzenberg fish farm on the Laßnitzbach

The name Schwarzenberg in Murau is associated with the castle of the princely family. Since 1968 it has also been associated with top-quality trout and char.

The clear mountain water found here in the Laßnitzbach just outside Murau guarantees the best conditions for the fish. The smoked fish are known for their mild and spicy aroma thanks to the use of local hardwoods. The quality of the fish from the Schwarzenberg fish farm is known far beyond Murau. They can be found in fish markets and restaurants or you can buy them fresh or smoked directly from the fish farm itself.
