18-hole course – Golfclub Murau-Kreischberg
Clubhouse and club bar
One of the special highlights is without doubt the clubhouse and restaurant "Pfiff". They offer a wonderful terrace where you can put your feet up and relax with a fantastic view over the entire golf course. You have a direct view of the eighteenth hole's island green, which allows you to experience finals live.
Skiing & Golf
With skiing and golf, the Kreischberg offers an unbeatable range of options all year round. For members, there are extremely attractive package prices for course access for the year and the Kreischberg/Lachtal season ticket.
Tips for beginners
- There are two types of qualification for the course: the "Platzreife" and "Turnierreife". Both of these qualifications can be obtained by completing a course. The only real difference is the handicap. A "Platzreife" qualification allows you to play the course and requires a handicap of 54, while the "Turnierreife" qualification allows you to play in tournaments and requires a handicap of 45.
- You don't learn to play golf with cheap offers. Golf should be fun and requires a technique, practice and a lot of patience. The time you have on holiday is a good chance to take a course. In the same way as you can get your diving certification in Mediterranean countries, you can also take a golf course while on holiday in the Murau-Kreischberg region.
- A little tip: never play your first rounds with strangers! You will learn much easier and faster with familiar faces!
