Signposting system on the cycling trails

The standardised and easy-to-understand signposting will help you get your bearings on your cycling route. Even without knowing the area, you will not have any problems reaching your destination. Simply follow the coloured signs featuring the cycling symbol!

The trails are marked on all maps, including their level of difficulty. In the Murau-Kreischberg region, you will find cycling tours graded at three different levels. Beginners can easily master the easy blue routes. For the moderate red tours, you will need a bit more stamina and better fitness. The difficult black trails are earmarked for experienced professional cyclists.

A special highlight in the Murau-Kreischberg region is most definitely the Mur Cycling Path (Murradweg). This cycle trail runs throughout the whole of Styria, taking in the famous spots for Styrian cheese and Murauer Bier plus wine and pumpkin seed oil. The stage passing through the region around Murau is approx. 45 km and delivers outstanding views.
