Gasthof Schafferwirt

The restaurant has been in the Mandl family for three generations and stands out for its family atmosphere. The Schafferwirt is situated in Kaindorf, on the road between Murau and St. Georgen am Kreischberg. It is a very well-run restaurant with plenty of space including a conservatory, a children's playground and parking.

For generations, guests here have been treated to the finest quality dishes. Their secret is to use quality products from the region, such as Almo beef, trout from the Schwarzenberg'schen Fischzucht (fish farm), organic baked goods, home-reared ham, etc. Take a seat in the elegant pine-furnished parlour, in the rustic guest parlour or the conservatory – you'll soon find your favourite spot. The team at the Schafferwirt will be very pleased to spoil you!

Delicacies: Murauer Bierschnitzel (beer-battered schnitzel), trout, Saturday/Sunday: roast pork

Opening times:
